Trogir is a town in central Dalmatia, 25 km west of Split, on the northwest part of Kaštela Bay. The town belongs to the Split-Dalmatia County.
City of Trogir was founded by Greek colonists from the island of Vis in the 3rd Century BC. In central Europe was considered as best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic city. The castle is surrounded by walls and towers make up the core of Trogir.
The most significant cultural monument is the Cathedral. Trogir is situated on the coast of the Kaštela Bay, on the island of Čiovo and the mainland, connected with the stone bridge. In Trogir is the 1271st opened one of the first pharmacy in Europe. It was located in the house near the cathedral. Original document which confirms it is in a private collection, a copy of the Museum of Trogir.

The old part of Trogir has been included on UNESCO's list of world cultural heritage.
