Visa and Passport
Foreign visitors do not normally require visas to enter Croatia. To check if you require a visa, visit the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' .
However, a passport is required for travel to Croatia.
Immunization
You do not need special vaccinations to enter Croatia.

Currency
The Croatian currency is the Kuna. The current exchange rate can be found at the Croatian National Bank.

State-owned Post offices can be found in almost all villages, towns and cities in Croatia.
Internet
Internet cafe can be found anywhere or you can buy Simpa Mobile Internet (Web'n'walk) packages in T-Mobile Centers and in authorized T-Mobile partner stores.
Mobile Pre-payd telephone and/or (SIM) card
You can buy a Pre-payd telephone card (SIM) from a newspaper kiosk or mobile phone shop providers. You'll get a certain amount of talk time credit with the SIM card and when needed you should buy recharge coupon from practically any shop. You'll pay for your calls at local charges nd all your incoming calls absolutely free of charge. There are two mobile phone networks in Croatia: T-Mobile and VIP.
Transportation
Airlines
Croatia Airlines is national airport company has regular flights to: Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Munich, Paris, Rome, Sarajevo, Skopje, Vienna and Zurich. Other (current onairlines that fly in Croatia are: Aeroflot, Air France, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Germanwings, BH Airlines, CSA, Lufthansa, LOT, Malev, Turkish Airlines.
Taxi
In Croatia there are a number of operators in charge of taxi services. Regular taxi service is available in all cities, towns and in every tourist places. Prices for regular taxi service are determined by taximeter. When you enter taxi, taximeter is switched on and initial charge on the taximeter is about 30-40 Croatian Kuna (4-5 euros +/-) and each kilometer is 8-10 Croatian Kuna (1-1.5 euros +/-). Keep in mind, if the taximeter is not running you don't need to pay for the ride.
Rent-a-Car
All the major car rental companies are represented in Croatia (such as Europcar, Hertz, Avis, etc) as well local companies. Local companies are often less expensive than the international chains. Train
The rail network connects all major Croatian cities. There are direct lines and indirect lines to almost all other European countries. Bus
If you want to save money taking the bus is the preferred way of getting around Croatia. Croatian bus network is very good organized and reliable, connecting all parts of the country and will take you even to the smallest village. Regural international bus lines connect Croatia with all neighbouring countries as well as France, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, etc.
Ferry
There are international and coastal ferry lines. Ferries connect hundreds of coastal islands with major coastal towns and ports. To reach any of numerous island attractions in the Croatia, just choose among 50+ ferries and conventional ships. Croatia’s largest liner shipping company is Jadrolinija.
