In the area of Split-Dalmatia County this year will open a few hotels with high star rating,
the most of them in the city of Split, which will offer guests more than 1200 new
beds in four and five stars hotels.

During this year the city of Split will finish reconstruction of two hotels: Hotel Marijan who will have five-star category and capacity of 500 beds and the Hotel Split as four-star category and capacity of 543 beds. There is also new hotel in Split, Marmont Hotel with 45 beds, situated in the old part of town.

By finishing of reconstruction and construction of all these objects Split town obtain a significant number of new beds, whose lack was disputable in recent years, especially during the organization of large events as economic, sporting and cultural events.

Also the town Solin, old town near Split, will get first hotel building, a five star Hotel President. The hotel with 91 room, seven apartments, restaurants, congress hall, wellness, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and other amenities, this hotel is designed mostly for business people.

Further in County, in small town Podgora, besides the restoration of the Hotel Sirena from the Tourist Board Split-Dalmatia County draws attention to other investments in various facilities, accessible beaches, promenades, as well as thematic and cycling trails in the area of the county.

Tourist Board Split-Dalmatia County assumes this should contribute to increase visitors of this year tourist season or at least to keep last year’s results of tourist visiting the county.
