It will be ready more than 1600 new beds for tourists in four stars hotels, as well as about a hundred beds in the category of five-star hotels, it is announced by the owners of the hotels in Dubrovnik area.
The first new market capacity should be in May 2009, when will be opening of Hotel Valamar Lacroma Resort at Babin kuk, Dubrovnik. After the reconstruction, there will be 385 new double rooms and 16 suites. The hotel will also be able to accommodate more than 800 tourists and will have a restaurant, conference hall, wellness and fitness center and other facilities.

Two months later, in July 2009, in Orašac (settlement 15 km northwest of Dubrovnik), it is announced the opening of the hotel Radisson SAS Resort SPA. Four stars category hotel with more than 800 beds in 201 rooms and 207 suites, as well as ancillary facilities, including three outdoor pools.

There is also plan of opening of five star hotel at Sveti Jakov area with the 48 rooms and eight suites which will be able to accommodate more than one hundred guests, but dates of opening are not yet released.
